Where it would be easy to write about fake news, the NoTW and Murdoch media empire scandals, now, after the event, the earliest live recording of this track dates from 1997. With news media scandals being uncovered this song could be the biggest bombshell of them all. A BBC Panorama program on this subject, aired on 18 July 2011, concluded by saying this could not have been made up. It is within this situation and with lyrics in this song written over 10 years before, like “Once you sold yourself out, now you can’t buy yourself in.” that show Zarjaz to be, like Bob Dylan was during the 1960’s, one of the most important singer songwriters we have in the world today.
